Hi Michelle,I just looked at this today,how amazing.Before, I had my oldest in 1996 I was 6 1/2 months pregnant they told me at 4 months that my baby had spinal bifida according 2 sonograms they scheduled me for an amnio,while I was on the bed and getting ready I saw the needle (I'm a big chicken)I stopped them and said exactly what is this gonna do 4 the baby now? When they told me they'll know exactly how bad it was and I could make the decision to terminate I freaked.Never in a million years did I think of terminating this pregnancy cuz she was gonna have medical problems and may die.I always say every child is unique.And just cuz my baby was sick I would get rid of her?What if she was perfectly fine and later in life something happend?Would I get rid of her!!!Well, I did end up miscarrying her but God has plans for every one.He gave me 4 beautiful children.I think you are a courageous mother and I know how doctors are.She is a beautiful girl and has willpower and alot of fighting in her.

I went to school with Kevin and saw his reference to your page on Facebook.My daughter is close in age to your Kailey.I am thankful everyday that my child is healthy.I am also very thankful for the things that children in your daughters position can teacher her.I try to teach her that we are all made different and have things to overcome.If you never give up you can achieve even what mat at one time thought to be impossible.Your beautiful daughter is a good way to show her that very lesson in real life.
